Needs: new tyres, new brake pads, new chain and sprockets, radiator removing and cleaning up and repainting, oil and filter change, exhaust mounting bracket welding back on and a damn good clean up! Oh and whatever, if anything, it needs for the mot of course!!!
Plus, in the near future, get the front forks revamped, that should just about do it for now
So it's gonna be there all year then!
Want to buy a Blackbird?

Re: What did you do to your bike today??
After several coats of polish i was cheesed off with the scratches/ swirls in the paint so decided to tackle them today.
Used a green 3M waffle pad on a DA with Megs heavy cutting compound followed by Auto Finesse 3 in 1
Before
After
It's amazing how something can look "mint" from a distance but look a mess up close - much better now
Also insulated the garage doors with foil backed insulation - (lots left if anyone wants some cheap? - probably 20metres x 1metre)

Ok. After two and a bit years of non riding and thinking she would never go out on a motorcycle again....our lass came with me for a very gentle pootle up to the Sun Inn! We had me bro in tow in his car in case she got too tired to stay on the bike but she went all the way there and back again, no problems...Result!

I used a DA (dual action polisher) with a green waffle pad (for heavy scratches) and Meguiars 105 Ultra Cut compound to get rid of most of the scratches/ swirls. This was then followed with Auto Finesse Tripple 3 (polish, wax, protection all in 1).
The bike does have stone chips and deep marks which you don't notice unless looking for them and the wheels have lots of chips but without a paint depth gauge i didn't want to risk going through the paint.
Had the bike 5 weeks now, spent hours tarting it up - just hoping i don't drop it first time out
