Fucking M1 roadworks!

So that's two days on the trot ive been sat in a 10 mile queue because some knobheads have driven into each other in the roadworks between jnt 31 & 29 on the M1.
You can't get anywhere quickly on the motorway at the moment and its going to get worse - before they have finished the road works on the M1 past Wakefield they are going to do the M62 past Ponte etc.
Fuckin unbelievable, then will come the 60 mph limit, then it'll go down to fifty. This country is coming to a fuckin halt and no fucking hi speed train is going to make a difference.
What about spending the £500 million on the roads instead and GET THIS FUCKIN COUNTRY MOVING!
God give me strength!

yep, the M62 roadworks past Casvegas are supposed to last for 12 months    - why is it other countries can build new roads and bridges in less than 1/2 the time it takes our lot?

oh and the Ainley top roundabout roadworks near Elland which is going on for 8 weeks if i recall) is to be done for the bloody tour de pushbikes at a cost of 2.5 million quid - WTF!

I see there was another accident in the self same road works again yesterday, fortunately I wasn't caught in this one!

Well can't help it but I have to rant again!

So the roadworks on the M1 and M62 will continue for another 8-12 months but there is one section on the Tinsley Viaduct that has been for knocking on for four months, its only a mile long but why does it take so long to do such short section? There have been many days I have passed this section of roadworks where there has been no one at all working there! NO FUCKIN ONE!

I despair.

Thoght I would vent my thoughts for our two readers out there!

well Bob i drove to Hincley at the weekend down the M1 - from chesterfield there's a section of roadworks with a 50 limit for at least 2 or 3 junctions, after that there's the scamera section
The main UK motorway and it's a joke, as you say no-one seems to be working at any time - must be great getting paid to do bugger all

Yep that section runs for 20 miles, add that to the 10 miles out of Leeds and the silly little one at Sheffield and I have a very prolonged journey to the Nottingham/derby area that I work in!

I spent over 10 years driving up and down the M62 then more recently up the M1 and M62 since moving to work in Leeds gotta say best think i did was start coming to work on the trian. No more hassle stuck in traffic and touch wood not really had any major issues with train yet in 8 months of using it.

Do sympathise with you on the motorways as they are a right pain in the arse!!
