Shock horror! For those that don't already know, I actually purchased a brand new set of tyres for the bike! Yes I know, scary huh. This all happened a couple of weeks ago and I ve been out twice since then, two up they seemed ok, one up, had the back tyre light up on a wet patch whilst out on Sunday! I'm hoping this isn't a sign of things to come, otherwise, I'll riding like big nose in the wet/damp!!! Sad

he bought Avon, Storms I think, black n round anyway.

Need to do a ring round meself for the ZX. Discovered they are a little illegal after my last ride out. Doh!

Fancy some road legal slicks like Supercorsas or Michelin Power Ones I do.

Ring round done, 2CTs £226 fitted at Bike tyres leeds. don't do the Power One Cup anymore, replacement Pilot Supersport is £280.00.

Jordans have Dunlop Qualifiers on an even more special offer than normal - £160 fitted!

Have Qualifiers on italian old knocker and rate them highly for that bike, supersticky but don't last long.

However, not sure if ZX will rip them apart....

Still if I get a summer of my kind of riding and two track days out them I'll be happy. Booked in for Sat before Egg Run, nice way to scrub em in.

Ha ha ha so its not just me who's getting names changed! In my last post I put riding like big nose and it was changed to big nose, which is fair enough ;-) tyres I bought were as Big Balls Big Balls Big Balls Bob said, Avon storm 2s, got good write ups for dry riding, not so good for wet! But dual compound for £145 a pair, can't argue with that :-)

Big Balls Big Balls Bob I don't mind so much but italian old knocker is getting upset - it's 59 plate, it's not old!

Tyres fitted, was still in two minds whether to go Dunlops or Michelins this morning but opted for Dunlops. Will be interesting to see the wear on the ZX, Mike at Jordans has just bought '07 ZX10R as well and he is going to try the Qualifiers on it. He had amajor off at Cadwell a month after buying it, ouch! £900 worth of damage. Was on old Pirelli Corsas, blames the tyres!
