So I went in Autostrada in Shipley this afternoon, the people that bought the Tatooed RC8R from Jordans, with a specifis possibility of buying it.

Guess what? They'd sold the fucker half an hour before I got there. Ah well, saved meself 8 grand!

I looked at them a few months ago - didn't realise they don't make them in 3 door versions

ended up getting a Fezza ST2 instead

I like the Festas but if you come out of a Focus into one you would notice the power or lack of it. Plus the Focus ST has many more bells and whistles just cos its a newer car.

The theory is get facelift ST now and wait for RS in 2 years time.

Festa ST not bad tho, what colour you got. Are you on Festa ST owners club forum?

Lad there was trying his best to sell me their white KTM but he didn't seem to know much about bikes!

Spirit Blue Festa, good colour. They've stop doing it on facelift Focus now which has pissed me off, last four cars white so want a different colour but our lass won't let me get Tangerine Scream!

Forgot to say my current ST is Mk3 one. Had a Mk2 RS before that, now that was a beast. Fuckin expensive for weekend toy though.

Been told they will never make a 3 door Mk3 Focus which is a shame, all part of this world car thing. New RS will be 5 door as well.

Recommend looking at Mountune kit on your Fiesta, power up to 215bhp and doesn't affect your warranty. Not bad for £600.

i'd probably go for the tangerine on the Focus, i looked at the orange on the Fezza but it's just a faded red - not nice

it's a shame the Focus is on ly 5 doors, bet they've lost a lot of sales because of this, i'm tempted by a Golf Gti or R in 3 door next

i'm looking at the Peron remap for mine, better than mountune, a lot cheaper but voids the warranty - hmmm?

Yeah I know, think I'm being silly. Love the ST just doesn't float me boat as much as RS did. Don't know why, can still get it airbourne, still get the power off over steer; very very nice place to be driving, seats are the best I've ever been in. So what am I complaint about?

Needs to be louder, maybe quicker and definitely better brakes.

I honestly thought that the next RS would be a Fiesta but those rumours went away a long time ago. Apparently an announcement is due from Ford on the 3rd of Feb ref RS Focus. Gonna be available 2016 so maybe keep hold of this one till then.

Ha, love the line 'the teaser video shows the RS sliding sideways round a wet track suggesting 4 wheel drive'

It will be front wheel drive, those pics are power off oversteer, how can you have power on oversteer when the inside back wheel is in the air. Those guys at autoexpress make me chuckle.

the Fiesta RS thing is new again. a recent press release did say they would introducing a host of new high performance models in the next few years. But why 2017? I want one NOW!
